Read PostI have a little girl aged 8 who has struggled for years with anxiety, particularly separation anxiety going into school, church or other activities. This anxiety caused much heartache and many tears and we literally tried all we could to help her. I must admit I was unsure about play therapy as I had no experience of it and wondered how it could possibly work when my daughter is was anxious and didn't know why...but all I can say now is WOW. Eileen has taken the time to play with and allow my little girl to 'heal' ...to find herself and her inner strength and confidence all through PLAY!!!. Our home lives are much easier now and I cry happy tears when I see just how effective this therapy is when everything else failed. Eileen...this is down to you love and compassion you consistently give in what you do. You have helped us as a family more than you will ever know. Forever gratefulEsther - Mum Seperation Anxiety
Wonderfully caring and empathic play therapist who really cares. Eileen has been working with my child for a few months now. I have seen how my child’s awareness of self has grown and is actually able to name intense feelings, allowing us to help and support as opposed to managing huge meltdowns. My child really enjoys the sessions, and looks and feels ‘lighter’ as he leaves each session. I believe he holds a lot in and when able to work with Eileen, that expression helps him manage what is going on internally for him… we are having conversations he was never able to have before. As a parent, I feel supported and I feel my child is in very loving, caring and safe hands. Cannot recommend Eileen highly enough.”Eilish - Mum Struggling with everyday life
Eileen was recommended to us by a friend, as soon as I contacted her, Eileen phoned to chat through what we were looking for. Our son has been bullied in school, between that and a few other issues he had lost his confidence, he was scared of us leaving him. We went through nights of awful nightmares, bedwetting and lots of tears. Eileen from the very start was at the end of the phone whenever we needed her. Our son instantly took to Eileen and we have never looked back. We have our bubbly, loving life son back. We can never thank Eileen enough for what she has done.Judith - Mum Low confidence and bullying
Cannot recommend Eileen highly enough. My daughter was suffering with anxiety which for her, affected her ability to get herself dressed and out of the house, this had a huge knock-on effect for our family as a whole, including siblings which often missed out as it was easier to just stay home. Eileen provided a safe, relaxed and fun place for my daughter to play and receive the help she needed. Our lives have completely changed for the better, most importantly my daughter is the happy, fun, little girl she deserves to be.Jayne - Mum Anxiety and worries
Eileen has been very open and honest from the very beginning with us about what she does and how she plans to help our daughter. She gave us great understanding into the research behind the activities she would be providing and the benefits it would have. My daughter was put at ease at her first session and looks forward to her session every week. Eileen keeps in touch of how she gets on during the session through text as to not discuss my daughter when she is there and likewise she is always a text or a phone call away if we need any help or advice.Vicky - Mum ASD
